Hi, I’m Elyse.

I Created A Writing Platform That Guides Your Mind To Be A Place You Enjoy Living In

This is a space for the overthinkers who think more than they live. I created this space to explore the inside of your mind, why you may overthink, and how to get out of your head more often. So, let’s start at the root of it all by guiding our thoughts to be empowering and supportive instead of harsh and chaotic.

There is power in your mind, and this is a place to explore yourself through relatability, reflection, and reinvention.

Are You An Overthinker?

Your mind truly creates the world you choose to live in each day. It’s difficult to escape out of a busy, loud mind when it’s all you know. With the constant thinking, overthinking, self doubt, ruminating, and self deprivation it feels lonely.

Elyse Woods Writes is a place for relatability through shared experiences, it is reflection where you can hear what I’ve learned through inner work and make it your own, and it is reinvention in what you choose to do with this information. Throughout this website, you can find a place in various forms of writing that gives you navigation to dive into parts of yourself you may have never met.

What’s Going Well Today?

What Do You Need To Hear Today?

  • This tab is about defining your emotions. Being able to name my emotions when they come up, has helped me be able to work through them or properly communicate them if it involves other people.

  • This is my take on journaling topics based on different parts of myself that I’m working on. Take these prompts as your own, read my responses, and see what happens when you combine inspiration and introspection. <3

  • This tab is more blog style. It contains more tangible, researched informational on mindset work, healing, and self discovery resources, or information I’v found helpful in helping my mind be a place I enjoy being in.

About

Hi! My name is Elyse

I’m in a commitment with myself to build my mind into a place I want to be in.

My mind is one of the busiest, most confusing places I’ve ever experienced.

With Elyse Woods Writes I wanted to create a place where there’s connection, relatability, and reflection to ease yourself into loving the mind that you have.

For a long time I’ve fallen victim to my brain being somewhat unbearable at times, but I have recently devoted my time and energy to creating my mind to be a place I want to stay in.

I’m pivoting away from my escapism and avoidance and diving into learning to work with the mind I’ve been given.

I’ve found writing is a way for me to share how I’m learning to love my mind instead of run from it. I’m organizing my thoughts and putting it out into the world to see who it reaches. :)

I'm thankful you’re here!

Elyse Woods
